This story is how we helped Sugra. In villages here, people use cow dung as a fuel to cook food.
One day Sugra was failing miserably to start a fire. She tried using gasoline and suddenly the fire spread to her clothes.
Sugra was shocked and did not understand what to do. The fire had badly burnt her leg, but her family was able to soon bring her to our medical Life Center.
We responded quickly with first aid. We then cleaned her wound on a daily basis and provided all the medicines required for healing.
Her wound is healing quickly and now she can walk and do things on her own. We also got her a checkup with a specialist from Lahore’s famous hospital.
Sugra was very surprised and thankful for the attention and treatment. She said that she has found another family.
